Hotel suites were very comfortable and roomy. We were very pleased with our accommodations a non smoking room, quite and near the beach suite. The past hurricane season had taken it toll on the area but the resort staff really tried to make us as comfortable as possible. Our junior suite room was OK, it was very specious with a nice balcony but it had two fatal flaws. Star Wars Battlefront 2 Torrent. The first was that though it was very close to the main lobby and bar, entertainment stage, and main restaurant it was very far from the beach. You have to take a diesel trolley past the laundry and over a flooded roadway through a swamp to get to the beach. The second flaw was there was an open vent from the outside directly to the bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom door closed so mosquitoes wouldnt have access to the bedroom. There was routinely 1 or 2 mosquitoes waiting for us in the bathroom. When I complained about the open vent, the staff at the desk was unwilling to complementary upgrade our room. Which I was a bit surprising, because I would have assumed that not contracting Zika would have been included in the base price. They did spray it, which did seem to help keep the mosquitoes away. But the exchange highlighted the most disappointing aspect of the resort. The staffs general lack of willingness to help make your vacation the best it could be. When I asked that my beer fridge be restocked double for free, because the day before it hadnt been stocked at all, they couldnt help me. The only people who seemed enthusiastic about interacting with guests were the people trying to up sell you on extras like excursions. I tried to explain to the main desk that the safe wasnt working properly. They just explained how to set it over and over again, like I was an idiot unable to follow simple directions. The cleaning was also, sub par, a dead mosquito killed on the first evening was still in the same spot several days later. An unexplained goober was on the bathroom wall when we arrived and stayed there the entire stay. I had a great time, but overall I wouldnt recommend Bavaro Princess.
